The winter season is upon us. This time of year may depress some of us. The days are shorter the nights are longer and the air is colder. Instead of thinking about those negative things lets think about some positives. We spend more time inside making more substantial foods like chili, stews, roasts, and turkeys. With these foods we should be thinking about beer. In general the brews that are brewed this time of year are more substantial as well. Some of the winter brews that we should be hibernating with are Stoudt`s Winter Ale, Weyerbacher Winter Ale, Victory Hop Wallop, Sierra Nevada Celebration, and Flyingfish Gran Cru. Each one of them having their own wonderful characteristics. So lets raise our pint glasses and pair some great beer with some great food.
